A collaboration with our westside homies, Fossil Brewing, this Belgian IPA is packed with flavor. Wakatu and Rakau hops, direct from New Zealand add a lot of unique character. The bubblegum notes from Belgian yeast, combine with the stone fruit, orchard fruit, and dank flavors of those Southern Hemisphere hops to give your taste buds a wild ride.

Pours a soft yellow color, pale and cloudy; thick and frothy head, white and densely spongy; nice rings of foam line the glass interior. Mild banana and clove aroma; yeasty. Delicately sweet flavor; banana; a somewhat metallic bitterness; pine resin; struggling tropical fruit notes. Medium body yet feels watery; smooth.
This is a collaboration between two Colorado Springs breweries - Cerberus and Fossil Beer Co. I've never been a big fan of the New Zealand hops used in most beers, and this beer hasn't changed my mind. The hop aromas are great, but what they add to the taste, I find rather sharp and harsh. Surprisingly, after a few sips, the taste becomes almost bland. I can't explain that, but it is how I perceive things. Anyway, a beautiful looking and smelling beer, questionable on the taste and mouthfeel factors.
ABV: 6.2%; pouring temperature: 43 °F; crowler canning info: 6-7-24
