We're proud of this cream ale that goes heavy on the corn, with a refreshingly light dose of noble hops (Tettnang). It's extremely well rounded, and many of our regulars say, it's just right. Remember: it's not the size of the beer, it's what you do with it that counts.

Golden pour, translucent in the glass; sparse carbonation; patchy, thin head, white. Dull aroma; grain notes primarily; a suggestion of cracker. Fair taste; wheat-like with corn overtones; mild bitterness. Medium body; loose yet warm on the palate.
Geez, I don't know about this. There is a decent cereal grain character to the beer, but it still seems bland and one-dimensional. The appearance is very weak, no real head per se. The mouthfeel comes across more watery than anything, yet also has a certain coarseness (no, it doesn't make sense). I can just like the smell and taste, yet nothing comes together. The beer seems rough and plain overall. Drinkable but not something to revisit.
ABV: 5.9%; pouring temperature: 41 °F; crowler date: 7/18/24

...late note: bumped up the taste, feel and overall ratings after the beer had sat for a few hours (yes!). The taste, especially, came across as warm and grainy while the mouthfeel was still somewhat thick yet velvety...a much more pleasant beer on the warm side as opposed to a classic American cool / cold temperature range...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
