This luxurious dubbel was boiled for 24 hours, creating a sumptuously sweet base which was then aged on 130lbs of tart cherries. You won't want to miss this limited edition Belgian ale. Cheers.

Clear, ruby red color; coarse carbonation; thin, lasting head, light khaki color, dense sudsiness. Wonderful roasted grain nose and cherries. Sweet, fruity taste; cherries; lightly hidden phenol bitterness. Relatively light mouthfeel; a tad flat despite the carbonation; sweet yet with an astringent dryness.
A good beer but all the parts don't quite gel together.
ABV: 8.6%; pouring temperature: 41.0 °F
