called let it bee on their menu, maybe their best beer in here, i thought this one was really good, more professional and refined than most of the rest of them, and somewhat robust and even daring in a lineup of beers that felt a little conservative, even the creative ones. this is darker than a lot of browns, looking almost more like a porter in the glass, deep cocoa colored brew but with only a quarter inch of tan head in the shaker pint, not as lively as it could be. the aroma is nice, roasted and chocolate malts right up front with a definite coffee character, more depth than i am used to in a brown ale, and with lots of bitterness to balance the sweetness of the honey, which is als quite prominent. the flavor has great complexity but also balance between the darker grain complexion and the fragrant, sweet floral honey, which is there from start to finish. nuances of dark chocolate, sweet orange, and english toffee are also present. i wish this had a little more carbonation, but the feel is nice and smooth. a very drinkable and complete beer, better than almost everything else we tried in here, and the first beer i would order if i was back in there...
