I had this beer on-tap in a nonic at the brewery.
Appearance: slightly hazy dark orange hue. Head is a thin layer of creamy foam. Nice.
Smell: lots of caramel and toast along with a little bit of earthy happiness. A decent example of the style.
Taste: toasty, a little sweet, a little biscuity and with a moderate bitterness. It's balanced and well-crafted.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I'm not a huge fan of the style, but this is a pretty well-executed example of an ESB. Worth trying if ESBs are your thing.
