Pleasant enough but mild IPA. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer is a hazy straw yellow color with a big frothy white head. Head retention is very good and there are several bands of foamy/frothy lacing on the glass. Aroma and flavor are mild with some grapefruit and mild bitterness but there is another noticeable ingredient, probably the saffron. This saffron is quite detectable but I question how much it really adds to the beer. Mouthfeel is crisp and only slightly bitter. This is a good enough thirst quencher with no unpleasant aspects but it really doesn't stand out as anything worth seeking out.
