An aptly named IPA!!! This was the most vivid grapefruit-based IPA I have encountered. Most IPAs featuring grapefruit remind me of grapefruit juice. This beer has me visualizing pink grapefruit sections as I enjoy the aroma. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer shows a hazy straw yellow color and a medium sized bubbly white head that settles down into foam. Head retention is good and there are thick bands of lacing on the glass. The aroma was the best part as stated previously. Taste was good also, mostly grapefruit and moderately bitter. Mouthfeel was crisp, rich and somewhat juicy. A very enjoyable IPA.
