Tap at the GACBBW fest in Anchorage today. Colour is a ruddy, garnet hued brown with a fluffy ecru head. The nose is redolent of dried dark fruits, allspice, and clove. The palate is full and frothy and deftly balanced between sweetness and bittering. There's notes of almond essence, cinnamon oil and anise on the back palate and a long, tight and darkly fruity finish. Delightful!
