Copenhagen 29/5 2023. 50 cl can from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Steel grey can with black splotches.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big beige head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor with roasted and salty notes. Dark roasted malts, toffee and salted caramel. Hazelnut and brown sugar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish and bitter. Lingers for a bit. Salty tang. Finish is dry.
More than decent Czech Stout.
