Enigma Encrypted APA is our first beer made from Australian hops. A fresh, easy-drinking and relaxing beer. It has a medium-low bitterness and fullness. During the medium finish, the distinctive hop aroma of the Enigma variety stands out perfectly, which has "encoded" notes of raspberries, blackcurrants, white grapes, sugar melon and light tropical fruit into the beer.
The aroma and taste stand out beautifully, also thanks to the fact that the hops used are fresh and aromatic. We added them during the hop boil, in the whirlpool and cold. We used Pilsner and Pale Ale malts.

Copenhagen 31/5 2021. 50 cl can from N’bro Kiosken, Nørrebrogade, Kbh. N. Green can with encrypted text in white typewriter style.
Pours slightly unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as 0,5 m thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with dusty, citric scent. Peach and pineapple. Green grapes. Citrus and lemon. Little bit subdued. Pine needles.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness nicely balanced by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Well balanced and easy to drink fruity pale ale.
