16 oz. can, born on 9/5/25. Coppered amber pour with gentle carbonation holding up a khaki head that settles into a wispy skin. Aroma of pumpernickel with caramel drizzle and a hint of lemon herbal hops. Flavor has a lovely, rich maltiness; I would be surprised if a decoction brewing process was used here. Otherwise, the flavor proceeds to the finish with a light herbal lemon lozenge presence. The mouthfeel is full, oily and drying. Not the prettiest beer, but one of the better tasting American Märzen-style beers I’ve had. Reminds me of Victory’s take on the style.

Simple, pure and built for a strong spring showing, the "March" beer of Mirror Twin does it Wade Bogg's style at least during the months leading up to summer.

Wade Boggs Style comes as a golden bronze beer with a light haze, As a broken froth caps the lager, its nose teases with notions of savory breadiness, light honey and an almost caramel scent. Lightly floral, the taste soon leads to the toasty sweetness of bread crust, nutty pecan and stewed honey, simple sugars and an elegant off-caramel taste.

Much of the same transpires across the middle while the sweetness shows a resistance to fade. Lightly carbonated, the beer's weight carries a density of sweet grains along with their savory toasted counterparts. Floral hops turn to a tea-like earthy herbal taste before trending lightly bitter with notions of mint and lemongrass.

Medium but flirting with a sense of lightness on the palate, the beer's texture is limited by its shy carbonation. Still textures cause the beer to lumber the palate as the ale struggles for early creaminess and late dryness. A short aftertaste of grandma's sweet sun tea and those floral flavors return in a brief, bready, toasty echo.
