Taster at brewery. Almost black pour, ring of beige head. Roasty, bitter aroma, chocolate. Dark bitter Chocolate more pronounced in the taste, subtle lacto elements. Bitterness lingers.

I am trying this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had faint hints of chocolate. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent stout.

Taking a trip down memory lane, the Mirror Twin team evokes thoughts of ninja turtles, chocolate milk and the strong desire to be twenty-one with a milk stout that's lavish with chocolate for both an endorphin kick and an alcoholic jolt.

Cowabunga, Dude! pours a dark brown hue, caught somewhere between chocolate milk and dark roast coffee. As the decadent scent of milk chocolate arises, so does the beer's underlying caramel, cream, toffee and coffee. Sweet to taste, its those succulent caramel, toffee and heavy whipping cream notes that set the stage for a toasty, roasty and devilishly chocolate session ahead.

While the malts enjoy a slow and patient fade, the sweetness that persists keeps driving home the notion of milk chocolate because of the creamy lactose supply of sugars that link up with the sweetness of toffee and caramel, but also the soothing spice of vanilla for a velvety cookies-and-cream impression. Coffee and mild char hint toward beer character while any hops are broad, restrained and bitter to imply the same character of coffee and cocoa themselves.

Full in body but relaxed all the same, the beer is rich enough to accompany a wide array of desserts from tiramisu to raspberry cheesecake, but is drinkable and soft enough to rack up a few pints in a hurry. Its lasting taste is one soft of cocoa and cream with a necessary campfire and woodsy linger.
