I was lucky enough to try this three different times leading up to the official release. Every time, it's been bright and hazy, and the nose has been similarly appealing. The lemondrop/citra combo changed each time I had it, about a week apart each time. I thought it best the second time, when the lemon and citrus danced flawlessly. The first time was more citrus-forward, the third a juiciness where I couldn't identify the individual hops.

Like flour through the hour glass... the brewing companies of Mirror Twin and Mile Wide team for a tantalizing IPA that doesn't involve any back stabbing, incest, head transplants, returning from the dead or infidelity. ...or at least I hope so.
Haze of Our Lives teases the olfactory senses with an array of citrus, tropical and herbal aromas and with a backdrop of melon and orange blossom. Very light gold and turbidly opaque, the hoppy ale greets the tongue with light pastry sweetness along with hints of dough and honey.
And as the sweetness begins to recede, the tangy succulence of Lemondrop and Citra hops align on the middle palate, leaving tracks of radiant tangerine, candied lemon, white grapefruit, a hint of lime, pineapple and passionfruit in their wake. Tangy and juicy, the taste begins to take on proportions of fruit gelato before trending herbal, berry-like and grassy. Smooth in finish, the beer takes a relaxed tone on bitterness and dryness in order to retain a rich fruit impression and a soothing closure.
Medium bodied but lightening considerable nearing finish, the beer's smooth texture leads to a soft, nearly watery texture in the absence of any assertive bitterness. Still, its high citrus flavor is too irresistible to ignore as drink after drink beckons. Suggestions of vanilla and pastry once again revisit the retro olfactory senses in a medium length afterglow.
