One of the funnest ways to enjoy IPA of any kind is to try the ones with one, two or three different hop varieties, especially in the late stage, more aromatic additions. This allows the individuality of the hops to stand out thus giving the beer uniqueness, or identity. On the backs of Mandarina Bavaria and Citra hops, Mirror Twin's experimentation in "hazy" IPA shows not shortage of imagination.

Much like orange juicy, with extra pulp, Hazy Hot Humid comes with a popping, broken froth but also a rich, rife and ripe perfume of orange, lemon and curious herb. Bready richness of pastry and smoothie comes with honey, light caramel and an overall poundcake richness.

A slow release of sweetness and maltiness allows the rich textures to stew on the middle palate while the radiant taste of orange lays bold tracks of tangerine, nectarine, blood orange, lemon and pink grapefruit. Trending moderately bitter, the fruit flavors turn to a more citronella spice with the vibrancy of citrus peel, mango and papaya leading the way toward a finish of green tea, geranium, lemongrass and hemp.

Medium bodied but laying weightily from the light carbonation, the beer's moderate maltiness is stubborn and is slow to allow dryness preferring instead to celebrate flavor over feel. A medium length afterglow of fruit punch, peel and pith roll through a series of gentle echoes.
