Bringing summer to a close, the brewers of Mirror Twin get to twinning their Bee Sting, a honey rich hefeweizen, into a tropical infusion of pineapple for one last hurrah of hot weather.

Expectedly cloudy, Bikini Bottom pours with a milky matte finish and a creamy stark white froth. Its bright and tangy scent is of the soft cream of wheat variety along with a tropical medley of banana and pineapple with a hint of citrus, apple and clove. Equally as soft, the early palate opens with the sweetness of dainty angel food cake, honey and sugar cookie.

As the palate acclimates to the beer's pillowy wheaten sweetness, its taste turns to the estery side of the ale with the brightness of banana, apple, lemon and honeydew. Overtones of pineapple allow the mind to read a sense of pina colada especially with the creamy wheat and spicy clove balance. A light and minty late palate has the beer trending fruity but supported on the late palate.

Medium bodied, simple and malty, the linger of wheat and honey extends medium length on the aftertaste while a light alcohol spice and faint herbal hops add a tea-like balance to take a slight edge off of the sweetness.
