Pushing the hazy into imperial territory, Mirror Twin Brewing rides the waves of El Dorado and Azacca hops for stronger than usual flavor and the uniqueness of stone fruit and mango to put a unique signature on the session.
Pouring with a rich matte orange appearance, I Want Em Real Thick & Juicy So Find That Juicy Double (Wheat) crowns with a short but creamy meringue. A fragrant perfume of those lighter stone fruits, citrus, tropical fruit and orchard fruit cover all the aromatic bases along with a sweet scent underneath of sherbet. Sweet on the tongue, the flavors open up with a doughy cereal presence with a pep of honey, cobbler and cashew.
As the sweetness stews on the middle palate, a gloss of hops reveal the radiant taste that hinges on mangoes. But an undercurrent of pink grapefruit, lemon and oranges keep the sherbet characteristics supported. Trending more like apricot, the late palate is smoothly bitter with sassafras, green tea, pine and tropical fruit peels.
Medium bodied but leaning slightly fuller, the beer's creamy texture provides a pillowy softness with the linger of cereal, cream of wheat and a strong creamsicle sweetness. The mild alcohol spice of vodka provides a spicy balance to work with the mildly resinous hops which extends into a medium long aftertaste of mango once more.
