16 ounce can, looks like the enjoy by date stamped on the can is 02/26/25. Hope a few months over didn't hurt this one too much. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a somewhat clear gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is subtle but nice, the brew smells like tangerine, vanilla, blood oranges and a generic tropical fruity aroma. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's a little more of a kick to it. There's also some grainy malt, lime and mango flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy enough to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was decent enough overall, but I'd like to try a fresher version of this in the future.

It's a good sour. Tastes correct. The lactose isn't for me but I gave it a try to bring something home for my wife. Very good neutral sour for me.

Mimicking the effects of sherbet and pushup treats of childhood, the brewers at Mirror Twin tap into the kid in all of us by rounding out their sour ale with generous additions of tangerine, blood orange and lactose.
Hazy golden and with a nod toward straw, Wheezing the Juice knocks on the olfactory door with a burst of tangy citrus that leads with a strong citronella presence. Cream of wheat, faint must and orchard fruit continue to tease the nose while an initial taste of cereal, cream and key lime pie filling sweetens the front of the tongue.
As the sourness unfolds on the middle palate, a host of lemon, lime, passionfruit, cider, gooseberry and melon frame the undertow of a fairly nondescript sour ale. Its clean lactic acids are a clean palate for the layers of oranges that flood the tastebuds. Branch ripe, fresh squeezed and oozing with slightly under ripened citrus, the orange flavors bleed into the character of mango, papaya and nectarine before diving into a pleasantly sour finish of cream candy, white pepper and faint burlap.
Medium bodied and somewhat fuller for sour ale, the creaminess of the ale has its texture firmer and flavorful. A brief aftertaste of cider and white wine undercuts the citrus for a crisp, refreshing and pleasantly creamy finish.
