Usually caught between stout and brown ale, the often forgotten porter might seem like a forgotten style. But when it's laced with marshmallow, graham cracker and chocolate, Mirror Twin's s'mores inspired porter is certainly a standout.

Not just a porter, Are You Kitten Me "twins" off of Kitten Mittens as it comes with a similarly dark brown color, capped in a frothy foam stance. much the same as its predecessor. Dark and creamy in its appearance, the beer quickly moves on to a sweet taste of chocolate, nuttiness, cream and coffee. Equally sweet on the palate, the malt influence is strong with toffee, graham cracker and sweet cream to round out the early palate.

Its sweetness saturates the middle palate and allows the sugars to stew on the long and lush. The culmination of bittersweet chocolate, cappuccino, granola nuttiness and vanilla achieve a convincing s'mores-like taste. Woodsy, coffee-like and with a taste of toasted nuttiness, the beer trends slightly earthy and bitter with a broad and woodsiness on the late palate.

Medium full and but seemingly richer in its texture, the beer falls on the finish with a robust and creamy texture. A hint of alcohol brings a lightness to the body but also a dryness for drinkability. A linger of kahlua and coffee lasts long on the after palate in a tried and true porter-like fashion once more.
