Fostering a taste of summer as Kentucky's cooler weather comes to a close, Mirror Twin brewers appease both crowds of drinkers: those who still want the malt and those that want to turn their attention to the tropics. They do this with a sweeter, stronger Milk Stout that's slathered with brown sugar, milk sugars and bananas! "C'mon, let's hear it!"

Solid black and topped with a light mocha crown, their abbreviated Banana's Foster leads with a malty-sweet, roasty, savory scent of coffee, chocolate and toasted marshmallow. Sweetness of gently burnt sugars slather on the tongue with a strong impression of banana split, equipped with whipped cream, ice cream and chocolate syrup.

Sweetness roastiness holds on indefinitely while the gentle campfire character marches through dark roast coffee, chocolate, walnut and a mild char. The middle palate however is seduced by the richness of banana taste that continues to scream banana split but also share elements of vanilla, condensed milk and marshmallow once more. A general tirimisu and vanilla cream flavor extends into a light aspartame taste with a mild hoppy spice that reminds the palate of chocolate and banana even more.

Full bodied and doubling down on its sugary identity, its light in carbonation, a slight kahlua character highlights the late palate and lingers long with B-A-N-A-N-A-S! They really should start writing songs a out this stuff.
