Twinning off of "Don't Take Your Margaritas For Pomegranate", Mirror Twin brewers takes the citrusy and winter berry Berlinerweiss on a sweeter and silkier taste that's good in any season.
Much like the origianl, Too High For Work pours with a light mauve and a peachy shade lighter than pink, the firm rosy appearance that precedes a tangy pink lemonade and berry-like scents. Gentle wine notes bring a spice to the nose while a splash of kool-aid, light taffy and agave lays a light and malty foundation.
While the beer's under current of lime, lemon, green apple, tart berries and sour gooseberries frame a citrusy taste that's keen with margarita nuances, the pomegranate adds an element of depth that adds a pink lemonade character to the lime accented drink. A light vinous spice, hops and tannins play slightly bitter on the late palate while the vanilla and cream adds a smoothie flavor to close out the session.
Light, crisp and refreshing, the beer is sweeter and more complex for a Berlinerweiss but is rewarded by the depth of richness from the winter berries, creainess and a rounded kiss of brine.
