16oz can from brewery. Pale straw colored pour, fizzy head. Citrusy aroma, lemon. Taste is super smooth for 10%, sweet, fruity, light zesty bitterness.

Double Dry Hopped, and now coming in "imperial", "imperial" Imperial form, Mirror Twin's Monster series just went on a New England styled, triple steroid hop regimen, with Citra hops becoming the centerpiece in taste.
Burnish matte gold and pastel in its dense shade, a creamy lather of tarnish froth builds even creamier than the previous Citra Monsters. But the magic begins as Triple! Citra Monster floods the nose with even its biggest punch of all-things-orange and a backdrop of citronella and cream. As its rich malts begin to coat the tongue, its full cereal, honey and poundcake sweetness acts as a buffer from the building hops.
But the hops win out quickly on the middle palate as its largest citrusy tone to date unleashes a flood of mandarin orange, kumquat, tangerine, nectarine and sweet ruby red grapefruit. Hints of mango and passionfruit make their way into a more succulent and tangier fruit display. The beer trends marginally bitter, herbal and pleasantly biting with a fresh grassiness, hemp, lemongrass and sassafras playing second fiddle to the creamy malts.
Lavish and full in body, the cereal balance remains to give the oranges a creamsicle, caky and vanilla-like softness. A finish of lemon leaf and muddled orange peel trend medium long and slightly bitter on the after palate along with a smooth and racy hemp-like herbal character.

Six week old can at this point, poured a wonderful opaque yellow. Nose is juicy with a finish of rind. Flavors are pure citra goodness, and there's no hint of the ABV. The only thing that this misses, for me, is the chewy feel of the great triple NEIPAs, but this drinks like a prime double, so it's not a bad thing at all.
