What better worlds to come together than that of pop culture emoji use and the creamiest, fruitiest IPA? Thanks to Mirror Twin, you can have your cake and drink it too.
Cake Emoji comes right out a milky-mauve appearance while swirling with a short slight pinkish froth. A juicy and mouthwatering aroma floods the nose with cereal, berry, vanilla, heavy cream and pastry to suggest the batter of blueberry muffins. In similar manner, its the sweet cream, vanilla, cereal, sugar cookie and pound cake maltiness that forms a malty-rich foundation for flavor.
A full flavored, full bodied slather of cake batter washes the middle palate to full saturation quickly. Sweet vanilla cream awaits a quick arrival of blueberry for a strong taste of blueberry pastry, cake and tort. With a scant bitterness to follow, the late taste heavily favors the malts and accessory vanilla and cream flavors before trailing into a finish of Flintstone vitamins, you know... the grape ones.
Full, lavish and playfully cloying, palate fatigue comes quickly as the 16oz can is an easy split between two or three hop-heads. The beer finishes fruity and sweet with a minor offset for bitterness, but still extends long and plush with blueberry and cream.
