When two isn't enough, but four is too many, it takes the right trio of flavors to pull off such death defying taste. Ok, maybe that's a little overblown, but the three headed fruit monster that Mirror Twin has created might just chase the tastebuds around the tongue for a while.
The Three Haze-keteers come to the rescue of thirst with a radiant citronella perfume that's chocked full of peach, mango and tangerine for a branch ripe, pulp bursting scent. Pale and pastel orange, the hazy beer then coats the tongue with a creamy sweet maltiness that takes the first sip into a creamsicle direction once and for all.
Deliciously plump and succulent with generous fruit additions, the middle palate follows with continued creaminess and also a bevy of citrus, tropical and stone fruit hops that further enhance with fruits with their own apricot, grapefruit, lime, berry, passionfruit and pineapple character. Full of flavor, the beer hardly allows for a moderate and smooth bitterness to decorate the finish with fine botanical herbs of gin, hemp and spruce.
Medium bodied and trending smooth, the hazy IPA finishes malty-dry with its citrus acidity and moderate hop resins suggesting dryness but the plump malt and fruitiness doing similarly for fullness. With these weapons at their disposal, the summer thirst hardly stands a chance.
