Crisp, clean and refreshing, it didn't take long to move Mirror Twin's classic pale ale to the flagship side of their menu.
Mostly bright, bubbly and copper in color, The Oregon Pale shows a sprite personality with a foamy white cap. As its familiar scent of citrus, spruce and light caramel sweetness shares its perfume with the nose, the flavors open up with those dry caramel malts and suggestions of bread crust, granola and light honey for a certain trail mix vibe.
As the hops quickly garner attention of the middle palate, notions of pink grapefruit, orange peel and tropical fruit juiciness bring a fruitier tone ahead of a drying sense of cut grass, pine needle, fruit peel and peppery resins fuel a refreshing sense of hops and granola in its finish.
Medium bodied, crisp and refreshing, the very sessionable pale ale finishes on a drying track and extending with a medium aftertaste of fruit peels and peppery resins.

Can.
L-straw yellow, clear 2F offwhite head lingers for a bit
S-pleasant hop forward with grassy notes
T-follows the nose closely. Mild hops with grassy character. Minimal bitterness.
F-light bodied. Slightly over carbonated for my preference
O-this is a solid entrant in its style (American pale ale) that’s not usually my favorite category. Would absolutely drink again if I were in the mood for the style

A: Pours a clear medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate pale yellow + straw yellow + pale golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a handful of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit pith hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + lightly toasted + grainy malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + lightly toasted + grainy malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit pith hops which impart a light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a hint of dryness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very crushable light slightly crisp mouthfeel. Very enjoyable and definitely a beer that I could have numerous times.
