When you're given the opportunity to roll Galaxy, Riwaka, and Simcoe hops, you own that moment! And with a heartfelt hazy idea swirling in the head of brewers a double oat, double IPA was simply waiting to happen.

Owner Of A Hazy Heart pours with the heavy and tarnish golden-yellow haze while building a dense ivory froth. Once the head settles down, the aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, grassy scents and pine roll off of the rim. Sweeter to the taste, the firm and starchy malts seem of honey smacks, cookie dough and vanilla wafer.

Fighting through all the cereal, the hops start to peak through with a sharper citrus taste of white grapefruit, tangerine and lemon while a more tropical taste of passionfruit, papaya and guava complement the citrus. Moderately bitter in closing, the beer's late palate is malty with a bitter offset of pine, grasses and botanical herb.

Full bodied, rounded and smooth, the Imperial Hazy IPA eventually finishes malty-dry and with a long linger of fruit peels, rinds and pulp, along with herbal aspects of verbena, peppery tea and hemp.
