Showing that pale doesn't mean dull, Mirror Twin fuels their hazier pale ale with Mosaic and Galaxy hops for a bright taste despite its foggy look.
Life is a Byway lands on the bar with a hazy lemon appearance while floating a creamy white froth. Tantalizing aromas of citrus, tropical, winey and berry-like scents create a perfume of citronella and tropical punch. Sweeter on the tongue, the ale is rounded and juicy with light cereal, honeysuckle and wafer.
As the hops expand on the middle palate, the ale simply glows with lime, white grapefruit, under ripened orange and a pep of lemon. With the citrus medley complete, the taste also reels in more tropical influences like passionfruit, mango, papaya, dragon fruit and gooseberry. Trending slightly herbal and bitter, the beer's balance comes with verbena, green tea, lemongrass and cedar.
Medium bodied, creamy and trending dry, the beer finishes bitter-sweet with an soft extension of grassy and herbal bitterness on the after palate.Its a refreshing, crisp and mostly clean ale that's a perfect beer to cut through more intense hazy ales.
