Amplifying the array of aromas, flavors and spices that give the Mosaic hop variety such a wide range of character, Mirror Twin takes this monster to the tropics with the additions of pink guava, peach and apricot.
Tropical Mosaic Monster comes with a milky goldenrod haze and topped with a quick collapsing head. Spice, musty stone fruit, tropical fruit, citrus and botanical herbs round the nose along with a dense and doughy center. Pastry-like flavors layer on the thongue with an angel food cake, honeysuckle and fruit cocktail melody.
the lingering malt starchiness and its supportive sweetness swirls on the middle palate and brings those hoppy aromas into tasty fruition. Pineapple, passionfruit and guava succulence comes from the tropical fruit contention while the tropical fruit additions give a cocktail flare well before its citrusy taste comes with radiant orange, red grapefruit and a pep of zesty lime. The juiciness of cantaloup and guava keeps the late palate rounded even while a spice of lemon verbena, sassafras and green tea bring a moderate, bitter balance to the finish.
Medium balanced yet seemingly fuller because of the beer's light carbonation and depth of cereal weight. A light alcohol spice of vodka teases the throat while a grassy, herbal and geranium aftertaste gives impressions of hemp, tropical fruit peels, spruce and leaf.
