Much like Pop Rocks for hop heads, Mirror Twin unleashes Cryo-Pop hopped, New England-styled IPA on the tastebuds.

Lemony yellow and suspended in a fine mesh haze, Hop-A-Shot rounds out with a cottony white froth before a tantalizing lemony scent. Summery in it perfume, radiant in complementary citrus and balanced with fragrant woods and herbs, the nose leads to a citronella-like scent. Its early malt impact includes notions of wafer, honeysuckle and cereal in a crisp yet sweet taste.

As the hops rise on the middle palate the malt flavors start to recede, leaving the taste to side with those lemony hops and their accompanying orange, white grapefruit and yuzu flavors for extra zesty flavor. Passionfruit, kiwi and honeydew round out the fruit flavors before the late taste comes calling with a balancing bitterness of green tea, lemongrass, verbena, cedar and peppery grasses.

Medium bodied, crisp and clean, the beer carries a drier mouthfeel and a racier, nearly tangy taste that calls for refreshment and an ease in drinkability. Definitely a more refreshing take on the NEIPA style.
