I tried this beer off the tapper as part of a five sample flight at the brewery whilst in Lexington with the Old Oswego Crew for our annual beer trip. This was a very good hazy ipa with juicy citrus fruit scent and taste.

Going to the party alone isn't anything to rave about. But with friends like Nectaron, Strata, Eclipse and Citra Spectrum hops this party for the tastebuds just dropped the beat.
Lemony blonde and pastel in its shallow shades, a creamy lather of soapy froth begins to build. But the magic begins as Rave Monster floods the nose with a menagerie of tropical, citrus, herb and a backdrop of citronella and cream. As its rich malts begin to coat the tongue, its mild cereal, honey and shortbread sweetness acts as a buffer from the bitterness of hops.
But the hops soon win out on the middle palate as its citrusy tone unleashes a flood of mandarin orange, white grapefruit, lemon and nectarine. Hints of under-ripened mango and passionfruit make their way into the succulent and tangy fruit display, the beer trends slightly bitter, herbal and pleasantly biting with a fresh botanical, hemp, lemongrass and sassafras.
Medium bodied and creamy-dry, the cereal balance remains to give the fruits a sherbet and vanilla-like softness. A finish of lemon leaf and orange peel trend medium long and slightly bitter on the after palate along with a smooth and racy bitterness.

Pours the cloudy orange that one would expect from a hazy. White head with some staying power. Nose is full on orange/tangerine citrus and pineapple. Taste is also like nose, juicy orange and pineapple flavors smother the palate. Good NEIPA
