When trippin’ goes to even more vivid levels, its usually Mirror Twin that’s responsible. Using an assortment of “cryo” hops, their smoothie IPA sees new heights.
Hazy gold and crowned with a frothy white cap, Cryo Trippin’ Froots teases the nose with elevated fruitiness of tropical, citrus and herbal aromas in true juicy fruit fashion. As its sweeter base flavors bring hints of cereal, cream and candied fruit, the malt underpinnings of the ale center around honeysuckle and shortcake.
A growing impression of fruits are led by the hops and their citrusy impressions of white grapefruit, orange and lime before more tropical favors of mango, pineapple, passionfruit and kiwi round out the bright hop profile. All draped in the fruit juices of mango, lime, tangerine and pineapple, this session better be trippin’ Trending softly bitter and supportive with hops, the radiant ale might finally find itself at the breakfast table.
Medium bodied, rounded and persistent with grain sweetness, the off-dry ale stays plump to elevate the hops and fruit additions for a truly fruity session.
