Once again teaming up with Pink Boots Society, Mirror Twin makes their monster a little less scary. But just as strong, hoppy and assertive as ever, this session is dosed in the pink.
Light and lemony in appearance, the cloudy Pink Monster floats a creamy sheet of foam along with a tantalizing scent of citrus, tropical fruit, vinous fruit, fragrant woods and herbs. Sweet in its upstart, suggestions of vanilla wafer, light bread and cereal come with a whimsical honeysuckle fruity-floral taste.
As the hops spring to life, the middle palate is at bloom with lemon, white grapefruit and under ripened orange. As more under ripened fruits of tropical pineapple and mango team up with ripe passionfruit and kiwi for a ripe and radiant fruit cocktail of hop flavor. As the session trends smoothly bitter, a late charge of verbena, sassafras, green tea and hemp frame an herbal finish and a spruce tip afterglow
Medium bodied and certainly more plump for IPA, the ale finishes malty-dry and with a slightly sweet taste, followed with a dank cannabis aftertaste.
