Applying what they’ve learned from making so many hazy ales, Mirror Twin gets back to basics with a beer that’s as friendly as an old pal.
Foggy and golden chrome, My Citra Pal floats a shy but creamy froth before shedding the fruity aromatics of citrus, tropical, berry and herb. As a mild manners sweetness layers in the tongue, its malt impressions are a dry collection of granola grain and honey flavors.
As the Citra hops spring to life, they bring a dominant taste of orange, kumquat, nectarine, mango and passionfruit. Trending toward a balancing bitterness, the taste develops into tea leaf, verbena, grasses and hemp to close.
Medium bodied, trending dry and leaving a medium length after taste of citrus peel and herb on the finish, this is one friendly beer.
