Well would ya look at this damn coincidence… a Cold IPA drop on a cold sunny day. Hear us out: You walk into the taproom and grab this drop as a draft. You realize it’s a smooooth IPA and you decide to take a pack or two home. Maybe gift one, maybe not. You’ve got chills now, you decide it’s time to warm up. So you switch over to bourbon at your own risk. The choice was good, you feel warm, you whisper to yourself, it’s going to be a great weekend. Cheers!

When the temperature drops, Mirror Twin has a beer to match. Brewed in the cold-brewed “brut” method, they split the difference between drier IPA and India pale lager for refreshment and crispness.
Showing a light golden and straw tinted appearance, the frothy white cap of the beer shows a scent of citrus, herb and spruce and a quick taste of dry wafer, light bread and honeysuckle in a near-arid grain sweetness. The hops easily take command of the session with an essence of under ripened citrus fruits of orange, white grapefruit and lime. Drying even more, a quick development of bitterness leads to a fast finish of green tea, verbena, sassafras, hemp and gin-like botanicals with a crisp, concise and dry finish.
Effortless in drinkability, the ale relinquishes much of its flavor impact for refreshment, unveiling a few nuanced hop and grain derived astringency and grassy bite but the lovers of drier and more bitter beer will easily forgive.
