You know warmer weather is ahead when brewers roll out the wheat beers, honey beers and fruit beers. Mirror Twin gets them all out of the way at once with a mango laced honey hefeweizen.
Cloudy and deep gold, Bee Have Man draws in the eye with a creamy and dense pour capped with a stark white and creamy head. Drawing in the senses as well are fruity esters of citrus, banana and apple, yeast spices of light chai, all while wrapped in a tropical fruit cocoon. Malt dominant with creamy wheat, a pillowy sweetness of sugar cookie, pastry dough and cereal coat the palate. Lightly hopped for an herbal measure of mint, lemongrass and balance, the session finishes fruit forward, sweetly focused and quite flavorful.
Medium bodied and seemingly fuller, the wheat beer finishes malty sweet and creamy smooth with a soft finish of mango and light bread.
