Well, what'ya know? Blondes do have more fun after all. Jam packed with birthday cake and soft serve flavors, Mirror Twin's blonde ale is a party for the palate.
Dense with a golden haze, the truly opaque Funfetti Brian Freeze floats a creamy and equally dense meringue with a bold scent of bakery and confection aisles. Vanilla, cake batter, pastry and cream swirl on the nose ahead of a sugary maltiness of cereal, powdered sugar and cakey density. With no real balance, the blond ale sets its sights on the sweet tooth early and late with a long, sweet aftertaste of cupcake equipped with frosting.
Full bodied and cloying throughout, the initial sip is tantalizing for fans of sweetness but its balance is lacking and palate fatigue comes quickly.
