When boldness doesn't always equate bigness, Mirror Twin looks to make a mark on the haze scene by going small.
A much more sessionable Citra Vibes radiates with the nose as those juicy hops bring a younger citrus scent as soon as the pale and lemony-yellow pour settles. A crisp cereal sweetness shows flavors of dry bread, honey and wafer ahead of a splash of hops that bring orange, white grapefruit, mango and melon- all in their younger, tangier versions. A shift toward a spicy bitterness adds a crisp finish and notions of green tea, verbena and sassafras for balance and drinkability.
It's nice to see that haze doesn't always have to come with heft.
