On tap at the brewery.
Dark with some head and even some lacing. The nose is quite hot, to the point of obscuring other aromas. Bourbon warmth leaning toward maple, cinnamon, and licorice. Salted caramel also figures prominently. Flavors tend toward molten chocolate with bourbon and a little pecan. The pecan is rich, not so nutty. The mouthfeel is slick, smooth, rich, and coats the tongue. I like the idea of these flavors, but I think the execution could be better or there could just be more time to help it mellow.
