Pours from the growler into an imperial nonic a beep bronze color with a half finger slight off white head atop.Rick caramel and bready malts come together nicely in the nose,I love the breadiness from a well made ESB.Caramel and toasted bread on the palate with underlying fruity tones, the caramel and bread stand out most. For me it harkens back to the early 2000's living in the Philadelphia area and all the great brewers then making top notch ESB's,this one would fit in nicely. Please U.S. brewers, brew more ESB's and less NE IPA's!I'am sure that won't happen anytime soon.
