Draft at brewery. Pale golden, small foamy head. Malty, bready aroma. Taste is also kind of malt forward, but also offers some nice hoppy bitterness at the finish.

one of the lighter, cleaner, and most simple beers i have had from these guys, a straight up pale lager, no obvious adjuncts or short cuts stand out here, and as such it might be a touch more bodied and hefty than most in its field, but this is still awfully light and drinkable. i like the lager yeast having some flavor, and i love the feel, full of high carbonation from start to finish and with just a little bit of bitter hops at the end, giving it a balanced taste and quick sip after sip drinkability. the most subtle toasted note in the grain profile keeps it grounded, and some trace citrus and tea notes in the hop profile keeps it from being boring. the yeast is european to me, familiar but fresh and patiently done on the lagering. it has a little big of an aftertaste, which is uncommon in these, but its not carried by any residual sugar. overall a tasty lager that should be agreeable to any fan of lighter beers. nice for the summer. these guys have been doing a nice job across a bunch of different styles lately, i need to get down to the brewery again, its been too long...
