16 ounce can
Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours hazy and yeller. It is topped with a couple inches of tan head that leaves some nice lacing.

The smell and taste are juicy AF. Tropical fruit galore.

I just about chugged this beer before I could even think about it. Great beer.

Pours a hazy, nearly opaque orange amber with a fine, one finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of mildly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, mango, kiwi and a little mint. Flavor is pale malt with a hint of caramel, tropical fruit and light citrus hops, mixed tropical fruit, orange, dried light stone fruit with a little pine showing up in the finish with unassertive, but moderate hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess and good mouth feel. I wasn't expecting a hazy on this one and was surprised to see a classic opaque NE style appearance, which was enhanced by the tropical fruit character in the aroma. A very nice hop bill in this one, combining tropical with good citrus and a bit of pine. The bitterness is below my personal threshold for IPAs, but it does have an acceptable IBU level. This might be the first low bitterness hazy that I liked this much, largely due to the hop flavors, which have good herbal notes as well as fruit and the moderate bitterness, which kept my interest. I liked this one.

Canned 5th Jan, purchased at The Beermongers.

A hazy orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks solid. The nose is, surprise, juicy and fruity but thankfully without the grassy notes that the Papyrus Iris had. Peach, jackfruit, mango pulp, plenty of citrus are present. A mild citrus pith and zest note add a bite as well. The palate opens mildly bitter and very fruity with peach, mango and fresh squeezed O.J. as well as some pine. The mid palate has a mild sweetness before a kind and fruity finish, clean and with a touch of alcohol. The higher ABV is well integrated into the flavor palate. Excellent.

On tap at Beer O'clock the other day.

The beer pours an attractive peachy golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose, this really smells pretty good, as I get a boatload of tropical fruit, citrus, light pine and a touch dankness (the citra and mosaic hops really shine in this beer). The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely in this well crafted DIPA, and I was impressed by how well balanced it was. The hoppy bitterness really counters the sweetness very well in this beer, with the beer finishing with a fairly bitter, dry finish. The mouthfeel actually comes across as a bit lean, which I thought worked well for the level of alcohol in this beer, and seemed to help further counter the malty sweetness. Alcohol is exceptionally well integrated in the flavor profile, and frankly, I was surprised to see the 8.5% abv. So this is another DIPA that is dangerously drinkable.

Excellent DIPA from the folks at Ruse. Really well done. To no great surprise, this beer was selling like hot cakes at Beer O'clock the other day.
