Airy, roomy, industrial chic brewery with a wide array of taps that leans heavy on the IPA and hops. Laid back vibe. Records and cans to go. Worth the adventure!

Spacious brewery in nondirscipt repurposed industrial building on the south side of town. Brewery is on the left of the foyer entrance, with an L-shaped bar that is half service and half seating. 16 beers on tap, nice selection of IPAs. Single cans to go. Friendly, personable bartender.

This establishment is SE of downtown, just on the other bank of the Willamette River, in a moderately sized industrial zone. There is plenty of parking across the street. This is a modern, simple but sharp taproom, with the brewery in behind the taps. A big wooden bar and lots of tall windows on the street side wall, make this a comfortable room to schmooze and booze in. Their service is a cut above with effort and attitude. They have a lot of IPA variants, but other styles, including a coffee porter. Their beer quality is good, ingredient wise, but sometimes the actual taste isn't quite up to snuff. Did think the Mind Loop West Coast IPA was good, though.

this place is so awesome, youd never know it from the outside, another strange sort of run down industrial looking area of portland, thats pretty much the whole city i guess, but its a big building with a hardly visible sign, parking on the side, and a real unassuming exterior, which makes walking in so cool. its part of a larger complex, looks like a music venue space in the back, a big corridor or lobby area where people can drink beer, kind of an overflow area, and a few other businesses too it looks like, beautifully remodeled it seems, open and airy and bright, neat old building features with new elements too, cool architecture, and the taproom and brewery are off to the left. open space in front of big windows, lots of natural light, a walkup bar to order on one side and some seating down the longer side, not a ton of tables in here but we found a cozy high top. sports on tv but this isnt that kind of place, its got awesome art and a super relaxed feel. i like the decor, the high ceilings, and the look back to the brewery itself, neat layout and a very comfortable space. the beer has a reputation that is well deserved, this is not a hype place, the quality is awesome. a couple of obligatory hazy ipa types were solid, but i loved the slushie sour we had, the black ipa, and the stout they did in collaboration with block 15. not sure why i thought there were more saisons and funky beers here, but didnt seem to be their jam. i scored some bottles im super stoked on too, neat merch and good list of beers to go. service was unremarkable, a little impersonal but it didnt diminish the experience at all. their beer speaks for itself, and i am pumped i finally got to make it is, so creative, modern, and well executed across the board. well worth driving a little south of town for, i cant wait to go back! one of my favorite brewery stops on our portland trip this time!

Possibly my new favorite brewery in Portland. Came in with moderate expectations, and they were not only met, but absolutely exceeded.
The quality of the IPAs was expected, but even so, they were still surprisingly excellent. However, it was the extraordinary quality of the pilsner, the barrel aged imperial stout and the saison that truly speak to the craftsmanship on display here.
I very much look forward to my next opportunity to visit!

Kid-tolerant, not exactly kid friendly (my wife and I brought a 6 year old and an 8 year old). Apparently dog friendly. The space is cool, they have 20-24 beers on tap, mostly IPAs but several different styles. Bar service only. Leans a little on the beer-pretentious side, but staff was friendly. Samples were three bucks each. Everything we tried was good, nothing blew me away, but they had a couple beers that were pretty darn good.
