Bottle from Market of Choice.
A mildly hazy light yellow with a dense white head that falls off rapidly leaving little lacing this looks solid. The nose is excellent. The Brett lends a fruity and mildly spicy note with a blend of pineapple, clove and white pepper. Along with this is a blend of straw and a light strawberry and lemon note. The palate opens grainy and fruity with pineapple, straw, a little earth, mint and lemon. A light spice with a little white pepper is present. Drying on the finish with a crisp and clean feel, with more heft than the 3.5% ABV would lead you to expect. There is a lingering Brett note on the finish, with a remarkable balance between pineapple and lemon, with a wonderfully refreshing and quenching character that makes you drink the next sip sooner than you were initially planning. Excellently crafted beer.
