*2023 Version with fresh Luminosa hops

Look: Pours as I expected, like an orange Julius, with a lofty white head that builds quickly and slowly settles to a pillow, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: I could smell it on the pour. Ripe melon, blueberries, ruby-red grapefruit, tangelos, pine sap, bready malt, passionfruit, and light papaya
Taste: A melon-led assault begins upon first sip and quickly followed by a full-on tropical fruit salad with guava, papaya, passionfruit, and mango all in tow. As that subsides, citrus, pine, berries, and dank take hold of the spotlight and then begin to intermingle with the tropical fruit until it closes out with a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, soft and creamy, medium-high carbonation, and soft on the finish but with a kiss of dryness
Overall: This is some good stuff. Another fresh hop hazy winner in my book and I’m glad I read the bottom of the can as it notes this as using Luminosa, which I noticed in the taste/aroma profile but otherwise would’ve thought an issue given the Citra and Simcoe mention on the side of the can. A nice interplay of citrus, pine, berries, and dank along with the tropical fruit salad that Luminosa hops bring. Tasty, well-made, and worth the purchase

2022 Simcoe edition.

A hazy lemon colored pour with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose has really good FH character with nice fruity, melony, moderately blueberry rich hop character. Creamy. The palate opens with lots of melon, some blueberry, citrus juice and a really creamy feel. The wheat really works here, pairing nicely with the hops. Fresh hop character is moderate, with creamy, oily depth, carried nicely on the wheat heavy base. Mild bitterness. Quite excellent.
