2023 version with fresh Centennial
Amber with a dense, beige head with good retention and lacing. The nose has a nice, rich , malty backbone with caramel, mild toffee, a touch of burnt sugar, which complement the citrusy Centennial hops. A touch oily and resiny, with the fresh hop character being mild - maybe some marmalade? The palate opens clean with a nice blend of citrus, candied orange peel, soft, creamy toffee and dark brown sugar. Mildly sweet but quite dry on the finish, with lingering nutty, toffee-like notes.
