Overloaded with Idaho 7, Citra, and Simcoe hops. Intense aromas and flavors of pineapple, ultra ripe melon, pear, and pine sap. Incredibly soft with a super restrained bitterness. Dangerously drinkable, so watch your intake!

Ah yes, the plot line of "The Incredible Mr. Limpet." Spy Dolphins. Something like that. From the Three Rivers area, no less.
This one pours a hazy golden with great tiny fizz and bubbles. The aroma is far better than most hazy IPA's - dry and not too skunky - hoppy - nice. The taste is also an impeccable blend of juicy, bitter, and dry all feeling wonderful going down and leaving a clean aftertaste (for the style).
Highly recommended. This is an excellent hazy.

Canned on 5/31/22; consumed on 6/23/22
Pours an opaque, dark orange body capped with just over two fingers of rich, soapy, white foam; good head retention leaves a paper-thin veil of cap, a thin, frothy collar, and comprehensive coating of sudsy, webby lacing strewn across the walls of the glass.
Aromas of orange and tangerine upfront give in to melon as underlying resins glide over the middle, leaving wet moss engaging with softer tones of papaya, lychee, and a touch of red grapefruit on the back end.
Taste shows underripe mango and pineapple opening, with touches of lemon peel bringing zest to overripe melon as the mid-palate fades to flaky malt and subtle undertones of baked pear skins on the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a medium body and carbonation on the higher end of moderate, leaving a taut prickle guiding toward a creamy mid-palate; pseudo-bitterness emerges on the back end to a glossy, largely clean finish refined with soft resins.
Understated to a point of contention, the varied hop profile here remains controlled yet presents as largely tepid and weak; drinkable yet disappointingly mild considering the beer's DIPA billing.

Woohooo baby is this a good beer! So fortunate to have this brewery just a mile from the house that just blends hops oh so beautifully. This blend of Idaho 7, Citra, and Simcoe compliment each other oh so nicely with a mild pineapple twist. The hazy glow illuminates so intense, making any ordinary glass into a golden chalice. 8.5 ABV and smooth as can be, so drinker discretion is advised. Easy to get lost in this beer along with many other gems from this great brewery. Would STRONGLY recommend.
