Look: A gorgeous hazy lemonade color. With about one and half fingers of fluffy white head. Tightly packed bubbles along with some glass lacing. It looks the way a NE IPA should.

Smell: This nose is dominated by fresh fleshy peach. It’s got a juicy peach quality along with an earthy peach skin quality. Think of smelling a peach at the store that hasn’t been washed yet. With all that peach I also get more tropical fruits. Passion fruit and pineapple. There’s a light lemon tartness that is coming through as well. Also there is a sweet doughy malt quality that gives the nose more depth and balance. The nose is a pleasant mix of fresh tropical fruit, earthiness and tartness. The beer smells light and has a refreshing quality to it if that is even possible. The smell isn’t super over the top, but it is more then enough to have me eager to drink it.

Taste: This is a huge peach bomb! Immediately my palette is attacked by sweet mushy over ripe peach. That over ripe peach develops into a delicate earthy peach skin flavor. The earthiness does a tango with some light sweet tropical fruit notes of pineapple and mango. . That earthiness and light tropical fruits notes are complemented by a big doughy biscuity, sugary like sweetness. The malt bill is very noticeable in this beer and would be a bit overwhelming if it wasn’t for the finish. In the finish you get more of that sugary sweetness along with the pineapple, but is cut into at the last second by this aggressive citrus peel bitterness. It taste a lot like if you bit straight into an orange with the skin still on.The bitterness has enough of a presence to keep the maltiness in check. The aftertaste is a mix of bitter citrus peel, earthy peach skin and some spiciness. The spice is a little off putting, but still this taste really good.

Feel: Medium bodied, with the right amount of carbonation. Along with a medium creaminess. The beer finishes a little on the dry side. This beer is very drinkable with absolutely no booziness to speak off.

Overall: Just a really well made beer. If you like peach then definitely try this. It has a great malt bill that is balanced by a necessary bitterness. This beer definitely makes me want to try more from Dancing Gnome!

Typical of DG, this one is hazy with a big hoppy bouquet that could distract you from taking a sip. The ipa is strong, but the delicious fruity flavor masks the alcohol. The body is great and this ipa is a pleasure to drink.
