Poured into a narrow imperial pint glass: color is dark amber, head light tan with fine bubbles, head presents one-plus fingers thick, some spotty lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is light sweetness with touch of caramel, biscuit, toffee, crisp hops but earth and herbal notes.
Taste is very similar with a sweet forward flavor with notes of caramel, biscuit, toffee, clean and crisp hops with earth and light tea notes.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, light/moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.
Overall a very, very good beer with light sweetness with malt forward flavor and smooth finish.

16oz can served in a snulip. Can is dated 10062023. Got it from @Braunmeister_1943 in a trade.
Pours dark mahogany with a modest head that settles into a dense, thick ring and a light dusting of skin over the surface. Translucent, but too dark to really call it clear. Light behind it gives it a coppery amber tint. Smell is nuts and bark, a little bit of dark baked bread, just a hint of that chocolatey toffee that I associate with scotch ales.
Taste is tea, little bit of doughy sweetness, something with a little bit of a bitter bite, a bread-crust kind of flavor.
Mouthfeel is smooth, medium, leaning a bit toward the heavy side, not much carbonation. Overall, this is interesting and good.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a murky orange/red with off-white head. The nose is toffee, bread, biscuits, earth, super malty. The taste is bready, toffee, earthy, grass, slight orange, pine, and slight grapes. Mouthfeel is dry and light. Slightly bitter on the aftertaste.

16 oz can
Pours clear deep golden, eggshell head is coarse and fluffy. Slowly dissipates to suds
Aroma of caramel, biscuit, toffee and apple.
Flavor is caramel, biscuit, a little bit of floral character, and a dry subdued hop finish.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Very pleasant and easy drinking. Nice flavor fits early spring. Lots of body and flavor for a very low abv. This is well worth trying.

Thanks to Pinz412 for this one, from his box in NBS BIF #13. 16oz can (dated 3/1/21) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a lightly hazy reddish brown color with over an inch of khaki head that had good retention and light lacing.
Malt forward nose, some caramel, with just some light floral hops in the background.
Similar on the tongue, still malt-forward, but the hops were a bit brighter.
The body was smooth, even, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was good, an easy quaffer for sure.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable example of the style. worth a shot if you see it.

Had this on 2021-04-01 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 16oz canned on 2021-03-01
A - Copper with a 1.5-finger tan head and light lace
S - Fresh brown bread with apple butter and grassy/herbal spice
T - Like eating a fresh baked biscuit while drinking mulled apple cider. Finishes dry with just the right amount of light bitterness.
M - Light-medium body and medium carbonation.
O - A very good example of the style. Clean and crisp. Worth seeking out.
