Served from the tap in a sampler glass at Mundelein Brew Fest.
Always up for some heat, even in the heat of summer. This stuff pours a partly cloudy straw topped by a finger of white froth. The nose comprises loam, green peppers, and a touch of wet wheat. The taste brings in more of the same, a strong sense of soil and straight pepper skin coming through the loudest, a tiny bit of heat peaking through from the wings. It's not very pleasing at all, lemme tell ya. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly watery feel. Overall, this did not sit well with me, nor with anyone else who had a taste in our party. Voted the worst-in-show at this particular fest, unfortunately.
