Another beer from Die Bierotek (whose mission might be to sell unusual beers and promote upstarts... both of which I like.)
But, it is hard for me to like Wheat What ? !
In fact, I'm unsure of its category. I put it in American Wheat, because I've tasted worse ales. But it clearly does not have the hefe's yeast. There is very little foam and softness typical of hefes. Nor is there banana. (Where is my banana?) The brewer also does a curious thing pumping this up to 7.25% since wheat is hard enough to work with at 5.25%.
It does have good bubbles.
Wheat What is open to re-categorization and you got my vote with a good argument.
I went on their website and while they have a funny name and, probably, eventually will have a funny execution of a funny name. The website is just starting and Y&K's road to experimentation (as indicated on their label) will be a long one unless they start producing better beers than this.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
