Pours a hazy yellow colour with a massive white head. Tropical fruits and hops on the nose. The taste is bitter with notes of papaya, pineapple and mango. Nicely carbonated

I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml at 5.8% passion project hazy IPA poured into glass with a 2 finger creamy head leaving a good lace all around as you drink it.
Fruit flavors but not overpowering it's very well balanced.
Smooth and creamy and very enjoyable to drink this beer I should have got more .
The bitterness level is very low .
Overall a very easy drinking hazy IPA beer and refreshing.
Cheers

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded 2021 292 (possibly Oct 19 2021) and served slightly chilled.
Pours a turbid, translucent pale yellow colour, giving rise to two fingers of rocky, billowing, sparkling white head that recedes at a casual pace. A little over five minutes later, it has been reduced to a lumpy quarter-inch cap and generously soapy collar, with gobs of sticky lacing flung about in its wake - this is just a gorgeous brew, no two ways about that. The aroma is juicy and varied - there's mango and passion fruit, alongside hints of grapefruit, orange peel, honeydew melon, lemon and apples.
If this can is actually from last October then it has held up surprisingly well - fruity and juicy flavours of white grapefruit, orange, apricot and mango comprise much of the flavour profile, backed by grainy pale malts and oats. More tropical & orchard fruitiness into the finish, which includes notes of grapefruit pith and some grassy, spicy hop bitterness lasting into the aftertaste; some hop burn/acidity. Medium in body, with moderately punchy carbonation that lightly tickles the surface of the tongue, giving a slightly crisp bite to this brew's soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Fair drinkability, but not a brew I'd want to stick with all night.
Final Grade: 3.93, a B+. Katalyst's Passion Project very nearly rises to the level of being a stand-out amongst its hazy Ontario IPA competition - it's better than many IMO, and I'd encourage other BAs to seek this out and try it. A little more juiciness would do this brew some good, but in all fairness this was a pretty old can, so it's more than likely that this serving was on the downslide. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for more, as I'd love to try it fresh.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Review from notes. Listed at 5.8% ABV.
Appearance - Hazy and turbid yellowy gold color with three plus fingers of long lived white head.
Smell - Mango, guava and lychee stand out most, some tangerine and grapefruit lie semi-dormant in the background.
Taste - Mango and tangerine again with lychee kicking in. Grapefruit in teh aftertaste. Solid bready backbone too.
Mouthfeel - Very smooth, modestly carbonate and really does seem "juicy".
Overall - A better than expected NEIPA that focuses quite heavily on the mango flavors. Well worth a try.
